Adam Cracknell (born on July 15, 1985) is a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger currently playing for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Playing Career[]
Adam played junior hockey for the Kootenay Ice in the Western Hockey League (WHL). Has was a member of the 2004–05 WHL regular season champions with the Kootenay Ice.
In his final year, 2005–06, Adam lead the Kootenay team in goals (42), assists (51) and points (93). He was Ranked second in the WHL in total points and was named to the WHL West Second All-Star Team.
Noticed by professional scouts for his size and work ethic, Adam was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the final round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Adam played three seasons (2006–09) with the Flames' minor league affiliates, but failed to make the jump into the NHL. On July 16, 2009, Adam was signed as an unrestricted free agent by the St. Louis Blues.
On March 1, 2011, Adam was recalled by the Blues after spending the majority of the 2011 season playing for the Blues affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League.
On March 12, 2011, Adam scored his first NHL goal in a game against the Detroit Red Wings.
