Andreas Nodl (born on February 28, 1987) is an Austrian professional ice hockey player who currently plays for Lausanne HC of the National League A (NLA).

He previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Philadelphia Flyers and the Carolina Hurricanes.

Playing Career[]

Andreas played two seasons with the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey League (USHL).

He later moved on to the St. Cloud State University Huskies and was drafted in the second round (39th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers.

In his second season with the Stampede, Andreas led the team with 59 points in 58 games.

After starting the 2008–09 NHL season with the Flyers' AHL team, the Philadelphia Phantoms, he was called up to the NHL on October 21, 2008.

On December 23, 2008 (in a game against the Ottawa Senators), Andreas scored his first career NHL goal in a 6-4 victory.

On November 29, 2011, he was waived by the Flyers and picked up by the Carolina Hurricanes.

On October 2, 2012, Andreas was signed as a free agent by Innsburck in Austria.
