Blake Wheeler (born Blake James Wheeler on August 31, 1986) is an American professional ice hockey right winger and an alternate captain for the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL).

He was drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in the first round (fifth overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

The Phoenix Coyotes were unable to come to an agreement with Wheeler and on July 1, 2008, the Boston Bruins signed him to an entry-level contract. The Coyotes received a compensatory second-round pick as a result of his signing elsewhere. Wheeler scored his first NHL goal in Boston's season-opening 5-4 win against the Colorado Avalanche on October 9, 2008.

Wheeler and the Bruins were unable to come to a contract agreement at the end of the 2009-2010 season. On, February 18, 2011, Wheeler and Mark Stuart were traded to the Atlanta Thrashers for Boris Valábik and Rich Peverley.

On December 5, 2021, Wheeler played his 1,000th NHL game.

On June 30, 2023, The Winnipeg Jets bought out Wheeler’s contract one day before free agency. Blake Wheeler’s 12-year tenure with the Jets came to a close.

On July 1, 2023, Blake Wheeler signed a one-year, $800,000 contract with the New York Rangers.
