Darren Banks (born March 18, 1966) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played in 20 games with the Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League (NHL).

Playing Career[]

Darren was undrafted after his collegiate career at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. He signed with the Calgary Flames as a free agent, but never played in a regular season game for them and his contract with the Flames later expired.

Later on, the Boston Bruins signed him to the team where he played with them for a total of 20 games in the 1992–93 NHL season and the 1993-94 NHL season.

After his stint in the NHL, Darren played in the IHL and in various minor pro leagues before ending his playing career in 2005.

Post Playing Career[]

From 1995 to 1996, Darren participated in roller hockey where he played for the Anaheim Bullfrogs and the Long Island Jewz. He was even the head coach for the Motor City Snipers.
