Dennis Rasmussen (born July 3, 1990) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Playing Career[]
Dennis played as a youth and made his professional debut with VIK Västerås HK before he was brought to Växjö Lakers after their promotion to the Elitserien on April 14, 2011.
After two successful seasons establishing a position within the team, he was re-signed to a two-year extension on January 30, 2013.
Following a successful 2013–14 season with the Lakers (in which he finished 10th in league scoring with 40 points), Dennis agreed to a one-year entry level contract with the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL on June 10, 2014.
He spent the season with the Rockford IceHogs where he played in 73 games and ended the season with 27 points (13 goals and 14 assists).
On July 9, 2015, Dennis's contract was extended for another year. On December 8, 2015, he scored his first career NHL goal in his first NHL game against Pekka Rinne of the Nashville Predators.
On June 22, 2016, Dennis and the Blackhawks agreed to terms on a one-year contract.
On July 7, 2017 (after becoming a free agent), he signed a one-year, one-way contract with the Anaheim Ducks.
