Garrett Pilon (born on April 13, 1998) is a Canadian ice hockey center who currently plays for the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League (WHL).
He was drafted in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft (87th overall) by the Washington Capitals.
Playing Career[]
Garrett began playing for the Kamloops Blazers during the 2015-16 season where he played in 71 games and had 47 points.
On July 2, 2015, his draft pick rights were traded from the Washington Capitals along with goaltender Pheonix Copley and Troy Brouwer to the St. Louis Blues in exchange for T.J. Oshie.
But on June 24, 2016, the rights were re-acquired by Washington along with St. Louis's first round pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft (Lucas Johansen) in exchange for Washington's first round pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft (Tage Thompson).
