Jérémie Blain (born March 19, 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing with the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League (AHL). Blain was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the 4th round (91st overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Blain played four seasons (2008 - 2012) of major junior hockey in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), scoring 16 goals and 116 assists for 132 points, while earning 214 penalty minutes, in 211 games played.
On October 9, 2012, the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL) signed Blain to a standard contract, and he played the 2012–13 season between the AHL with the Wolves[1] and the ECHL with the Idaho Steelheads.[2]
On July 5, 2013, the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL) signed Jeremy to a three-year entry-level contract.[3][4]
