Jaycob Megna (born December 10, 1992) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman who currently plays for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL).
He was selected by Anaheim in the 7th round (210th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
Playing Career[]
Jaycob played NCAA Division I hockey with the Nebraska–Omaha Mavericks where (over three seasons), he recorded 4 goals, 18 assists, and 40 penalty minutes in 105 games played.
On April 4, 2014, he chose to forgo his final year of college eligibility after signing a three-year entry-level contract with Anaheim.

Jaycob's older brother Jayson plays center with the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL. His father, Jay, was a defensive back in the NFL for the Miami Dolphins and the New Orleans Saints in the 1980s.
