Jean-Claude Bergeron is a retired Canadian ice hockey goaltender who has played for the Montreal Canadiens, Tampa Bay Lightning and Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Playing Career[]
As a teen, Jean-Claude played for the Shawinigan Cataractes of the QMJHL. He also played for the Verdun Jr. Canadiens.
He was drafted 104th overall in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens and began his NHL career with the Canadiens in 1990.
On June 19, 1992, Jean-Claude was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning for Frederic Chabot.
On August 28, 1996, he was signed as a free agent by the Los Angeles Kings.
He later played for the Atlanta Knights (AHL), the Phoenix Roadrunners & the Joliette Blizzard.
