Kirby Dach (born January 21, 2001) is a Canadian ice hockey player who currently plays centre for the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League (WHL).

Kirby was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks (third overall) in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.

Playing Career[]

In 2016, Kirby was selected second overall in the WHL draft by the Saskatoon Blades. During that same year he made his WHL debut, scoring 10 points in 19 games.

In the 2017–18 season, he played in 52 games for the Blades scoring 7 goals and leading all rookies with 39 assists.

In 2019, Kirby was named the alternate captain for the Blades for the remainder of the season.

Regarded as one of the top prospects in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, Kirby was selected in the first-round, 3rd overall, by the Chicago Blackhawks on June 21, 2019.

International Play[]

In 2018, Kirby was named to Team Canada for the Hlinka Gretzky Cup where he scored 2 goals and 5 assists in 5 tournament games.

In the gold medal game against Sweden, he scored a first period goal, helping Team Canada to a 6–2 victory.
