Kyle Jean (born March 1, 1990) is an American professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL.
Prior to turning professional, Kyle attended Lake Superior University where he played two seasons (2010 to 2012) of NCAA hockey with the Lake Superior State Lakers, scoring 13 goals and 25 assists for 38 points along with earning 99 penalty minutes in 77 games played.
On July 5, 2012, the New York Rangers signed him to a two-year entry level contract as a free agent.
Kyle was assigned to the Connecticut Whale in the AHL during the 2012-13 season where he skated in 73 games, registering 9 goals and 14 assists for 23 points along with 47 penalty minutes.
In the 2013-14 season, Kyle played for the Hartford Wolf Pack in the AHL for 41 games and the Greenville Road Warriors in the ECHL for 24 games.
In the 2014-15 season, he continued to play for the Greenville Road Warriors for 50 games and later returned to the AHL where he played for the Charlotte Checkers & the Lake Erie Monsters.
In the 2015-16 season, Kyle played for Asploven HC in Sweden for 19 games and later returned to the ECHL where he currently plays for the Idaho Steelheads.
