Welcome the the NHL Wiki here is a list of guidelines that you must follow:
- Please do not use any form of slurs (F****t, N****r, R****d, etc) if you are found using slurs context will not be used and you will face a permanent block.
- Do not use any form of Death Threats, we take those types of threats seriously, If you are caught sending death threats you will be blocked for an extended period of time while The administration team conduct an investigation, if found guilty you will be placed with a permanent block, if found innocent you will be blocked for up to a year.
- Please refrain from vandalizing pages, if it is your first Time you will be warned the next time you will be blocked.
- Swearing is allowed but please refrain from using excessive language as context May not be used.
- Please keep posts on topic, any off topic post (when not in off topic post discussion category) will be deleted and the offending user will be warned.
- Do not impersonate other users or any famous people, Impersonation will result in your account being permanently blocked.
- Do not create any sockpuppet accounts as those cause issues within the community. If you are found using a sock puppet to ban evade (permanent or temporary on your main account) both accounts will be permanently blocked with the chance to appeal.
- Do not upload NSFW content, failure to result in a permanent block.
- Do not share Doxxed information as it is a violation of FANDOMs TOS.
- to use this wiki you must be 13+ of age, underage users will be blocked for their perspective period of time till the age of 13.
- Sexual Harassment will not be tolerated, if you are reported for committing Sexual Harassment. You will be permanently blocked immediately and depending on how serious the situation is, you will most likely be reported to FANDOM staff, more serious of a case will result in the FBI being contacted.
- you are allowed to speak other languages while on this wiki.
- Do not initiate Cross wiki drama, failure to abide by such will result in a warning 1st offense, if continued will result in a 2 week block.
- do not delete warnings or notices, failure to abide by such will result in another warning/notice being created, continuous failure to do so will result in a block

Editing policy
This is the rules for our editing policy
- do not edit farm as it will cause a disruption.
- if you make a page please fill in content, do not make pages with no information added to them, failure to abide by this will be warned
- do not revert current images. Unless they are with a previous team then that would be allowed.
- do not make pages that are not affiliated with the NHL or hockey. Pages unrelated will be deleted and the offending user will be warned, failure to abide again will result in a block.
Ban policy
If you are found breaking any of these rules you will be within the Ban policy: on another note, you will receive only 1 warning. After that you will be blocked.
1st offense: notice
2nd offense: warning
3rd offense: 3 day block
4th offense: 2 week block
5th offense: 1 month block
6th offense: 1 year block
7 offense: Permanent block with the chance to appeal
if you break a rule that is serious enough, you will be most likely Permanently banned even if it is your first offense.
