Scott Smith (born August 17, 1952) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player.
Smith played junior hockey with the Regina Pats. He was selected by the Atlanta Flames in the 7th round (98th overall) of the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft.[1]
Smith went on to play three season of professional hockey, skating with the Omaha Knights and the Albuquerque Six-Guns of the Central Hockey League, and with the Des Moines Capitols of the International Hockey League.
Smith continued to play semi-professional hockey in the United States Hockey League with the Waterloo Black Hawks before hanging up his skates following the 1977-78 season.
