Trevor Halverson (born on April 6, 1971) is a retired Canadian ice hockey forward who played in the NHL for the Washington Capitals.
Playing Career[]
Trevor was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft (21st overall).
He played for various minor league teams before being signed as a free agent by the Capitals.
Trevor played in 17 games with the Capitals during the 1998-99 season and spent the rest of his time with the Portland Pirates of the AHL.
During training camp in September of 1999, he sustained a head injury which caused him to miss the rest of the season. By the end of the season, Trevor retired from professional hockey.
